Hi I'm Maria Steck and I am the Sunshine Chairman for 12th District PTA.

My role is to send good wishes on birthdays, and kind and compassionate greetings to those who are ill or who have lost a loved one within our 12th District family.

We accomplish these mailings by collecting donations from our Board of Managers and Council Presidents to cover the cost of cards and postage. Sunshine is not a budgeted expense, but is a service that we believe is important within our connected family of PTA.

Every PTA board should consider having a sunshine chairperson. Just remember that your mailed greetings and expressions of kindness are accomplished with donations, not with PTA funds.
