Connected for Kids!

Greetings from 12th District PTA, which proudly serves 130 school-based PTAs, eight PTA councils, and nearly 39,000 members throughout Ventura County. I hope you are among them.

Our Mission, "...to serve, train, strengthen and empower our councils and units," expresses the constant commitment of our 12th District Board of Managers to each and every member. We offer leadership training programs for PTA officers through our annual Mini-Convention, a gala "Reflections" celebration for our county-wide student artists each January, and free programs during the year that inform and prepare PTA members on the myriad issues that impact children and youth. We value our historic connections to the California State PTA and to our anchor organization, the National PTA, celebrating 100 years since its 1897 founding in Washington, D.C. We take pride in our affiliation with the oldest and largest child advocacy organization in America and in the commitment of our local PTA leaders to serve "every child with one voice."

The councils of 12th District PTA - Camarillo, Conejo, Hueneme, Moorpark, Oxnard, Simi Valley, Ventura and "Out of Council," represent and serve the PTA units in their school districts. The 14 Out of Council PTAs are located in Ventura County's smaller school districts and in unincorporated communities. Find out more about your PTA council on our website links.
